青天白日滿地紅，這樣一面你我都熟悉的旗幟，能有多少機會在國際性組織上露面! 自從保險界大老黃其光在2012年底被提名為2014-15年度的國際扶輪社長，並以第一高票當選後，全世界的扶輪會場便能常看到台灣國旗飄揚。

國際扶輪2014-15年度7月1日黃其光正式就任總社長，在美國伊利諾州艾文斯頓市的國際扶輪總部大樓裡，台灣國旗更將豎立在一百八十多個社員國的國旗之前，以示對領導人的尊重。

黃其光是國際扶輪創社113年來，第一位華人社長，黃其光也謙虛地認為這絕非他一人之功。

PRIP Gary C.K. Huang – The First Chinese President of Rotary International in Rotary’s history of more than 100 years

Mr. Huang currently works as Chairman of Huang Ping Sing Insurance Scholarship Foundation. He was recipient of “Order of Brilliant Star” in 2016), awarded by President Ma Ying-Jeou, R.O.C., and Friend of Foreign Service Medal in 2015), awarded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs R.O.C.

The national flag of the Republic of China (Taiwan) - Blue Sky, White Sun, and a Wholly Red Earth – is familiar to people in Taiwan. However, how many times can you see it appear in any international organizations? Since Gary C.K. Huang was nominated and became Rotary International President with the highest number of votes in 2014-15, the national flag of Taiwan has been seen flying frequently in Rotary’s international meetings. On July 1, 2014, Gary C.K. Huang took office officially, the flag of Taiwan was started to put in front of more than 180 national flags of Rotary’s state members in the headquarter of Rotary International located in Evanston, Illinois, USA. This is Rotary’s way of showing respect to its president.

Gary Huang was the first Rotary President who is Chinese selected by Rotary in its history of 113 years. Mr. Huang thinks humbly this achievement depends on a community of persons working together, rather than his own.

作爲優秀女性代表，她積極參與國内外女企業家組織活動，関注女性在社會發展中的地位與未來。她是前FCEM（世界女企業家協會）副主席、中華民國工商婦女企業管理協會第14、15屆總會長、中華民囯婦女協會理事。曾於2014年9月作爲世界籌備委員會主席協辦女企業家協會第62屆國際年會，並榮獲外交部2015年“外交之友貢獻獎”。
